Ready for Innovation
Building better futures with high-opportunity programs in STEAM and entrepreneurship
There is a growing need for science-fluent programmers, data analysts, designers, entrepreneurs, and communicators who can collaborate with researchers and engineers on next-generation tools that will deliver on the promise of technology in health care, sustainable product design, AI, and other rapidly advancing fields.
Entrepreneurship has always been the core of a Champlain College education. Now, Champlain is leveraging its strengths in game design, cybersecurity, and business—and its new partnership with Burlington’s technology-driven business incubator, Hula—to expand its offering of STEAM degrees and take Champlain’s hands-on, practical, interdisciplinary approach to health care and the bio-life sciences.

INNOVATION Needs
Your support for Champlain’s next generation of practical, hands-on, innovative academic programming will create:
A Flagship STEAM Building on the Hill Campus, featuring cutting-edge teaching laboratories designed for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) majors—dramatically increasing Champlain’s capacity to develop innovative academic programs.
New Future-Focused STEAM Degrees, both campus-based and online, that leverage our strengths in technology, design, business, and social innovation and catalyze our expansion in health and the bio-life sciences.
Enhanced Laboratory Spaces Throughout Campus. Updating and revitalizing Champlain’s existing classroom and lab spaces will equip Champlain’s teaching facilities with the tools to prepare students for tomorrow’s STEAM careers.
A Faculty Success Fund to Attract Talent to Power our STEAM Expansion. We must attract and retain the next generation of leaders to Champlain College who will develop and sustain new interdisciplinary programs like product design, digital health, sustainability, and the newly created Digital Humanities major.
A New Program for Women in Cybersecurity that will make Champlain the best place in the world for women to study cybersecurity and digital forensics.
